I am quite thrilled with my December Glam bag. What’s the main reason you ask? Well, the bag is a wristlet and I can probably wear it out on New Year’s Eve! I like things with a multi-purpose, you feel me?
Royal & Langnickel Moda Angle Shader Brush
First of all, this is brush is vegan and synthetic. So for all you vegan folk, Royal & Langnickel is a great brand to look into. It’s preferable for brushes to be synthetic so that it does not trap makeup. If you like creating cat eyes and smokey looks, this is the brush for you. Also, the brush itself offers great grip. I love it and all that it offers! It’s definitely my most favourite from the December glam bag.
Ofra Eyeshadow/Highlighter in Bliss
So remember that Ofra Banana powder from my November Ipsy bag? Well, I’m in love with the formula. The more I use it, the more I fall in love with it. This eyeshadow/ highlighter is pretty much the same formula. It doesn’t give you those chunky sparkles or whatever. I am so about smooth powders. The chunkier the sparkles/glitter is, I find that it highlights my skin problems (acne, etc). I really like this stuff so far. I have a feeling I’ll be sporting this for New Year’s Eve.
Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in WCW
I did not want any more red or maroon glosses because I do already have many, but I can’t lie… this lip paint is good. It’s not sticky. It’s actually glossy and it leaves a great deep colour on your lips. Tarte is Eco-friendly, so that’s always good. This formula is actually meant for dry, chapped winter lips. I would say to exfoliate before you apply any gloss. Also, I had to re-apply this gloss a couple of times throughout the day, but Tarte says that it should last even through a cocktail hour.
MAKE Moonlight Primer
This primer is black when it comes out of the tube. I tripped out when I first used it. Its speciality is the fact that it is supposed to be protecting you from “HEV”. HEV stands for High Energy Visible Light, which are the rays that come from your phone(s) and laptop(s). Basically, we are aging ourselves thanks to our obsession with technology. Ironic, isn’t it? This primer is supposed to protect you from those rays. I used it under my makeup and did not see much of a difference. Maybe my view will change over time? We’ll see.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics: Peppermint Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm
This lip balm is all natural. Jersey Shore Cosmetics are proclaimed to be all natural which is incredibly amazing. I will give them kudos for that. This particular lip balm though, I am not ecstatic over. I am just not a fan of anything that smells like Peppermint. It’s not like I hate it, but it just smells like lip balm that you’d buy from the drug store when you’re incredibly desperate.
Hope you guys liked my reviews! I tried to be as honest as possible. Stay tuned for some more new posts within the next couple days.
